1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Menu Link, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Acceptable Use Policy & Prohibited Content

You may use Menu Link to create, manage, and track QR codes for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use Menu Link or any QR codes generated by the service for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activities. Menu Link is intended exclusively for hosting content that is legal and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

Specifically prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
Illegal materials and substances (illicit drugs, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, stolen items)
Weapons, explosives, and dangerous materials
Child safety violations or exploitation of minors
Violent or hateful content, including incitement to violence or discrimination
Distribution of malware, phishing, or deceptive content
Harassment, hate speech, or threats against individuals or groups
Infringement of intellectual property rights, including copyrighted material without authorization
Spamming or unsolicited commercial communications
Adult or sexually explicit content
Fraudulent schemes, scams, or misleading business practices
Any use that could damage, disable, or impair the service or its users
Circumvention of security measures or unauthorized access attempts

Menu Link reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or ban accounts and remove QR codes and menu content that violate this policy, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Menu Link is not obligated to provide advance warning before account termination.

Commercial Use: You may use Menu Link and any QR codes generated through the service for commercial, business, promotional, or resale purposes, provided such use complies with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. You remain responsible for ensuring that your content and uses do not infringe third-party rights, violate applicable law, or breach any other agreements or obligations.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Menu Link is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service. Menu Link does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy of scan tracking data. No device, location, or personal data is collected for anonymous QR code scans.

4. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Menu Link or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Menu Link, even if we or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

5. Service Features

Menu Link allows users to:

Create and manage digital QR-based menus with custom themes and layouts
Add menu items with descriptions, prices, and photos
Customize menu appearance with colors, fonts, and layout options
Store and display business contact information (phone, email, address, website, social links)
Add and manage opening hours with the ability to toggle public visibility
Generate and customize styled QR codes for menu access
Track QR code scan counts and analytics (timestamps only, no personal device data collected)
Manage subscriptions and billing

Features may change or be updated at any time without notice. Users remain in control of all menu content visibility settings.

6. User Content & Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your menu content, including items, descriptions, images, and business information. You grant Menu Link a license to host, display, and distribute your menu content according to your published/visibility settings. If you delete content, it will be removed from public display within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Links and Third-Party Services

Menu Link has not reviewed all of the sites linked to our website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by us of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

8. Modifications to Terms

Menu Link may revise these terms of service for our website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

9. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

11. Refunds & Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Charges already billed are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. For paid annual plans, cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing period unless otherwise agreed.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 16 years old to use Menu Link. By using the service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

14. Account Suspension, Banning & Termination

Menu Link reserves the right to suspend, ban, or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable laws. This includes, but is not limited to, accounts involved in:

Hosting or promoting illegal content or materials
Repeated violations of our Acceptable Use Policy
Fraudulent or abusive behavior
Non-payment of fees (where applicable)
Any conduct Menu Link determines to be harmful or inappropriate

When an account is banned:

All active subscriptions will be immediately cancelled with no refund
All published menus and QR codes will be immediately unpublished and disabled
The account will be locked and prevented from logging in or accessing the service
The user will receive an email notification explaining the ban and reason
No data recovery or restoration will be available after account termination

No Refunds: If your account is suspended or banned, you forfeit all access to the service and any remaining subscription credits or funds. No refunds will be issued for suspensions or bans, regardless of the reason, except where required by law. By using Menu Link, you acknowledge that you accept these terms and the possibility of account termination without refund.

Menu Link may, at its sole discretion, issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or immediate bans depending on the severity of violations. Menu Link is not obligated to provide advance notice, opportunity to remedy, or explanation prior to account termination.
